Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld returns for the 12th year, Fri., July 4, 5pm-9:30pm and this year, officially kicks off the yearlong ‘Celebrate 2026,’ recognizing Scottsdale’s 75th anniversary of its official incorporation as a city, and concludes at Scottsdale 4th of July Celebration in 2026.
FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY. ‘Kids Corner’ this year is a ‘kids only zone’ with a snowy playland made out of real snow – yes, real snow! Also featured is the 2nd Annual Scottsdale 4th Water Balloon Championship (sign up now at Scottsdale4th.com), face painters, musical chairs, old fashioned cake walk and so much more. The ‘Kids Corner’ and all the activations are included in the general admission ticket. Plus, Medieval Times returns for guests to witness sword fights, meet the Queen and Junior Knight Training.
M CULINARY BACKYARD BBQ. From the culinary experts at M Culinary Concepts comes the traditional and ever-popular Backyard BBQ by Chef Michael DeMaria of M Culinary Concepts. This VIP ticketed experience offers guests exclusive dining options during the Scottsdale 4th of July event including burgers, vegan burgers, hot dogs and more. The grand finale is an over-the-top American flag made from over 1000 cupcakes.
COLD BEERS & CHEESEBURGERS SUMMER SLIDER EATING CHAMPIONSHIP. The third year of this showstopper -- the Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers Summer Slider Eating Championship -- returns to the Scottsdale 4th of July Western Museum Mainstage. Nineteen contestants will compete for the grand prize as they race against the clock and each other to finish 30 cheeseburger sliders in 10 minutes. This year, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers will fly out the winner from their newest location in Euless, Texas, to compete against 18 Arizona competitors. The champion will receive a $500 American Express gift card, a generous Gold Canyon Meat Box and bragging rights. Second place winner will receive a $100 Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers gift card and a Gold Canyon Meat Box. Third place takes home a Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers swag-bag featuring signature burger seasoning, hat, shirt and a $50 Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers gift card.
LERNER & ROWE BULL-RIDING RODEO. The fan-favorite returns in the rodeo arena at WestWorld of Scottsdale. The rodeo kicks off with a Presentation of Colors, and includes an authentic junior riders competition and, of course, the ever-popular mutton-busting for kids with pre-registration now open at Scottsdale4th.com (mutton-busting sessions limited!)

· Indoor Backyard BBQ Adult. $50 ages 11 and up. Includes access to air-conditioned North and South Hall and Rodeo Arena, all you can eat at the M Culinary Backyard BBQ, family friendly entertainment throughout, and premium fireworks viewing area. Doors open at 5pm.
· Indoor Backyard BBQ Child. $30 ages 6-10. Includes same access as Indoor Backyard BBQ adult ticket.

· Fireworks Only. $20 per vehicle. Parking access to view fireworks show only. Indoor access not available with this ticket. Fireworks show begins at 9pm.
CELEBRATE 2026. Scottsdale will mark a major milestone in 2026 – the 75th anniversary of its incorporation, which occurred June 25, 1951. This historic occasion aligns with another significant celebration occurring in 2026 – the United States’ 250th anniversary. To honor these anniversaries, Scottsdale is planning commemorative activities throughout 2026. These celebrations will be officially announced at Scottsdale’s upcoming 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld. Join the Valley’s biggest 2025 fireworks show at WestWorld and stop by the Scottsdale 75th booth to learn how the city plans to honor Scottsdale’s rich heritage and bright future in conjunction with our nation’s 250th celebration.
To honor this yearlong anniversary celebration, Scottsdale 4th presents the ‘History of Scottsdale Walking Tour.’ Travel back in time with Scottsdale fun facts and historical images starting in 1885.

The tradition continues, the 6th edition of the Scottsdale 4th of July Parade of Heroes happens on the mainstage recognizing outstanding community leaders who strive to make Arizona a better place.
