YELLOWSTONE SEASON #4 SUNDAY NIGHT, NOV. 7.  Costner, a two-time Academy Award winning actor and later musician, takes his band on the road, arriving at Schnepf Farms the same day his mega-popular hit television series, Yellowstone, debuts season 4.  Yellowstone features the Dutton family with Costner in the starring role as the tough, enduring patriarch, John Dutton, who owns the largest contiguous ranch in the USA.

Kevin Costner & Modern West, hit the road on this tour to perform songs written by Costner and co-writers, with special focus on performances of the latest album, Tales from Yellowstone. The band has played together since 2007 and this playlist, inspired by the character Costner plays on the show, was originally released in 2020.  They’re finally touring with this musical lineup and Queen Creek, Ariz., is on the tour.

Costner has said some of the album’s songs were inspired by his own life experiences and others are specifically inspired by Dutton, the TV character. In a recent story posted on WideOpenCountry.com, Costner shares that the album’s song “Won’t Stop Loving You” is about Dutton losing his wife.

Costner is quoted as he explains the song: “It begins to sum up how he [John Dutton] feels.  This man is about the land.  And when you share the land with your partner, every place you ever go, you see her on it. He’s a man going forward, but you never forget the moment; it’s immovable. I didn’t have to look any further than my own life to find what was the strength of it for me.”

About Kevin Costner & Modern West. Kevin Costner & Modern West is an Americana and rock band founded by actor Kevin Costner in 2007. Since their inception in 2007, Kevin Costner & Modern West have toured the globe sharing their music with fans. Four studio albums later, the band is on the road again with the Tales from Yellowstone 2021 Tour. Their first album, Untold Truths, was released in 2008 and reached No. 61 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and No. 35 on the Top Heatseekers chart. Singles released from that album include “Superman 14,” “Long Hot Night” and “Backyard.” The band’s second album, “Turn It On,” was followed by a tour through Europe. The band’s 2012 album, Famous For Killing Each Other: Music From and Inspired By Hatfields & McCoys, peaked at No. 14 on the Billboard Country Album chart. Coinciding with Costner’s star turn as John Dutton in the TV Series "Yellowstone," the band released Tales from Yellowstone, a collection of songs written from the perspective of that character. Songs from that album were featured on Season 3 of the show.

About Subaru Loves to Help.  Each year 15,780 children are diagnosed with pediatric cancer in the US. That means, that 1 in 285 kids will be diagnosed with cancer before their 20th birthday. During childhood, a cancer diagnosis for a child and their family can be devastating. Life must pause for a child to receive treatment and heal.  And a child’s life should be fun, full of laughter and smiles. This year at the Good Life Festival in November, Subaru is donating patches and funds to the Oliver Patch Project (OPP), a 501c3 nonprofit, whose mission is to “Empower children with pediatric cancers through the power of patches.”  By helping OPP, Subaru is bringing those smiles back to children and families facing an impossible situation. Subaru’s commitment to family is ever present because "Every Child deserves a Good Life!"  It’s the Subaru Love Promise at work.  Subaru.  More than a car company.
