The first Friday in September is National Food Bank Day. Many food banks are struggling during this time to keep up with their supply. With the COVID-19 pandemic and increased layoffs, many families need extra assistance. Also, due to consumer demand at grocery stores, many stores have not been able to make donations to food banks like they once did.
Our local food bank in South Scottsdale, Vista Del Camino, could also use our help. We dropped off some items this week and they make the process very easy with a drive up donation area and will bring a cart out to your car for large donations. You can find a list below of the items that are most needed at this time.

Donations can be dropped off during normal business hours. Current hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. weekdays but check website for any updates.
